Obama didn't forsee Joe the Plummer

The more I hear about Joe, the more I like it. I've worked for small businesses and loved it. Someday I would like to own a small business. To have the choice to hire people and spread the wealth without government is the way to do it. What I like about him is:
--He wants small government
--He supports the Mission and Troops in Iraq
--He wants to buy and grow a Business ( a Capitalist!)
--He wants to invest his wealth the way he wants, not the government
--He had the opportunity to confront Obama on the issues

I just loved the way McCain called Obama, Senator GOVERNMENT! It fits Obama totally, Mr TAX and SPEND!

Proposition Eight Yea or Nay

I have gotten comments on my YES to proposition Eight that oppose my position. I have a question for you nay Sayers:

1) Are you religious in any way, Like regularly attending a church?

2) Are you in a Traditional Marriage currently?

3) Are you currently raising Children?

4) Do you currently have children in the California School system?

My answers are yes to all four.

I'm a Methodist that regularly attends Catholic Mass with my family (Husband and children are Catholic). I have always believed in the sanctity of Marriage that it is only BETWEEN One Man and One Woman. And I believe it to be for the procreation of children and for the protection of those children raised in the family. I have no problem with those who want to live with each other and raise a family. (either same sex or opposite sex). The Government of CA definitely protects the right of those who want to have a Domestic living arrangement. But to call it a "MARRIAGE" is totally wrong.

I have been married to the same guy for fourteen years. (Yes, I'm the NavyWife, he was Navy for 24 years). We have two kids who both have Autism. I'm am so glad we have the Traditional Marriage. We are raising our kids to believe in it too. They have learning difficulties and with what I and my husband provide is STABILITY, Consistency and protection. The role models of a Woman and A Man together is what holds this family and marriage together. I don't think I could do it with another woman. It has to be one Man and one Woman.

I have a friend who has two daughters. His sister is gay and had a same sex marriage a few years ago. The oldest daughter did not understand why did she have Two Aunts? She wanted an Uncle and an Aunt. Thats the whole crux of problem. Children are looking for the Family Role models of One Man and One Woman. It gives them stability and consistency.

I have to stop to take care of my kids and get them breakfast, dressed and ready to go to school. My husband is at work right now. And I Traditional Wife (and proud of it) has to do her job being the nurturer.

Note: I have changed my comments to review before posting. I feel the need to review comments before posting to make sure the comments are civil and not degrading. I will not turn them away as long as they are civil and not full of cuss words. Thanks to those who have made good points even if I don't agree with you. Since this topic is heating up before the election I need to make sure it doesn't get ugly. (and comments on some blogs have been really bad lately). Keep reading, I'll finish my points after getting the kids to school!

Liberal Outrage: A Pro-McCain March In Manhattan

HT From Drudge Report by Peoples Cube

Vote YES on Prop 8

Here are some reasons why to vote YES on Prop 8:
Should Proposition 8 Fail --- The Consequences

1. Children in public schools will have to be taught that same-sex marriage is just as good as traditional marriage.

The California Education Code already requires that health education classes instruct children about marriage. (§51890)

Therefore, unless Proposition 8 passes, children will be taught that marriage is between any two adults regardless of gender. There will be serious clashes between the secular school system and the right of parents to teach their children their own values and beliefs.

2. Churches may be sued over their tax exempt status if they refuse to allow same-sex marriage ceremonies in their religious buildings open to the public. Ask whether your pastor, priest, minister, bishop, or rabbi is ready to perform such marriages in your chapels and sanctuaries.

3. Religious adoption agencies will be challenged by government agencies to give up their long-held right to place children only in homes with both a mother and a father. Catholic Charities in Boston already closed its doors in Massachusetts because courts legalized same-sex marriage there.

4. Religions that sponsor private schools with married student housing may be required to provide housing for same-sex couples, even if counter to church doctrine, or risk lawsuits over tax exemptions and related benefits.

5. Ministers who preach against same-sex marriages may be sued for hate speech and risk government fines. It already happened in Canada, a country that legalized gay marriage. A recent California court held that municipal employees may not say: “traditional marriage,” or “family values” because, after the same-sex marriage case, it is “hate speech.”

6. It will cost you money. This change in the definition of marriage will bring a cascade of lawsuits, including some already lost (e.g., photographers cannot now refuse to photograph gay marriages, doctors cannot now refuse to perform artificial insemination of gays even given other willing doctors). Even if courts eventually find in favor of a defender of traditional marriage (highly improbable given today’s activist judges), think of the money – your money – that will be spent on such legal battles.

And think of all the unintended consequences that we cannot even foresee at this time. Where will it end?

It’s your children, your grandchildren, your money, and your liberties.

Lets work together to protect them.

Obama/Ayers connection

This is what McCain said yesterday:
"Look, we don't care about an old, washed-up terrorist and his wife," McCain said. "That's not the point here."

"He's a terrorist!" a man in the audience screamed without making clear to whom he was referring.

"We need to know the full extent of the relationship," McCain replied. Later, McCain told ABC News: "It's a factor about Sen. Obama's candor and truthfulness with the American people."

Obama has denounced Ayers and his violent actions and views. He dismisses McCain's criticism as an effort to "score cheap political points."

What Obama said yesterday is he thought Bill Ayers had rehabilitated himself. Well, I don't believe that because Mr. Ayers has never repented his crimes of bombings. He said he wished he did MORE!
Here is a documentary on the Weatherman on youtube. The Weatherman were born from the SDS, an organization called Students for Democratic Society (and were pacifists at the time). There was a split at their 1969 convention where Bernadine Dohrn took the rains and made the Weatherman a violent arm of the SDS organization.

Obama negoitated with Iraqis

While the Bush Administration was in negotiations with Iraq to keep troops there, Obama was trying to get the Iraqis to urge our congress to approve the deal instead of President Bush.
"In the conversation, the senator urged Iraq to delay the [memorandum of understanding] between Iraq and the United States until the new administration was in place," said Samir Sumaidaie, Iraq's ambassador to the United States.

He said Mr. Zebari replied that any such agreement would not bind a new administration. "The new administration will have a free hand to opt out," he said the foreign minister told Mr. Obama.

Goat Boy resurfaces

A few months ago Adam Gadam the A-Q spokesman was thought to be killed in an Allied bombing. But No! He is back and the threats continue.
"The enemies of Islam are facing a crushing defeat, which is beginning to manifest itself in the expanding crisis their economy is experiencing," said Gadahn, in a clip of the message distributed by the SITE Intelligence Group, a Washington-based monitor of militant Web sites.

"A crisis whose primary cause, in addition to the abortive and unsustainable crusades they are waging in Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Iraq, is their turning their backs on Allah's revealed laws, which forbid interest-bearing transactions, exploitation, greed and injustice in all its forms."

And I bet A-Q is hoping for an Obama/Biden win in O8 too!

Don't despair! It's not over!

From Bill Kristol at Weekly Standard here:
So while there's reason for McCain-Palin supporters to worry, there's no reason to despair.

Despair is what the Obama campaign is hoping and working for. If a campaign can convince supporters of the other candidate that the race is effectively over, the enthusiasm and volunteer efforts drop off--as does, ultimately, their turnout on Election Day. Just as important, undecided and loosely affiliated voters become persuaded there's no real contest and lose any incentive to look closely at the candidates. This explains the efforts of the Obama campaign--aided by a colluding media--to sell the notion that
the race is over, that McCain supporters should give up, and undecided voters should tune out.

That's why the events at the end of last week were so important.

On Thursday night, Sarah Palin more than held her own in the vice-presidential debate against Joe Biden. She may well have stopped the McCain campaign's slide and, with her assaults on Obama's tax-and-spend liberalism and his willingness to lose in Iraq, set up McCain for a strong performance in Tuesday night's debate.

Obama Youth = Hitler Youth

The shining city on the hill

From the VP debate last night:
IFILL: Let's talk conventional wisdom for a moment. The conventional wisdom, Gov. Palin with you, is that your Achilles heel is that you lack experience. Your conventional wisdom against you is that your Achilles heel is that you lack discipline, Sen. Biden. What id it really for you, Gov. Palin? What is it really for you, Sen. Biden? Start with you, governor.

PALIN: My experience as an executive will be put to good use as a mayor and business owner and oil and gas regulator and then as governor of a huge state, a huge energy producing state that is accounting for much progress towards getting our nation energy independence and that's extremely important.

But it wasn't just that experience tapped into, it was my connection to the heartland of America. Being a mom, one very concerned about a son in the war, about a special needs child, about kids heading off to college, how are we going to pay those tuition bills? About times and Todd and our marriage in our past where we didn't have health insurance and we know what other Americans are going through as they sit around the kitchen table and try to figure out how are they going to pay out-of-pocket for health care? We've been there also so that connection was important.

But even more important is that world view that I share with John McCain. That world view that says that America is a nation of exceptionalism. And we are to be that shining city on a hill, as President Reagan so beautifully said, that we are a beacon of hope and that we are unapologetic here. We are not perfect as a nation. But together, we represent a perfect ideal. And that is democracy and tolerance and freedom and equal rights. Those things that we stand for that can be put to good use as a force for good in this world.

John McCain and I share that. You combine all that with being a team with the only track record of making a really, a difference in where we've been and reforming, that's a good team, it's a good ticket.

O'Reily goes after Barney!

Chin up Repubs!

From Hugh Hewitt here:
John McCain has a wind in his face, but he had a much stronger one blowing at him a year ago when his campaign was broke and all but dead. McCain was given a gift by Nancy Pelosi on Monday when the House Speaker let her election season mask slip and let rip with a snarl that startled even her allies in the House and signaled that the would be Triumvers of Obama, Reid and Pelosi will not be reaching across the aisle if Obama makes it to 1600.

McCain is a nationalist, and the vast majority of Americans are not of the hard-left variety represented by the leadership of the Obama coalition. That vast majority are center-right, and they have 30 plus days in which to first vent at the state of the market and then assess the men who would lead them. "Not Ready To Lead" has been Team McCain's mantra about Obama from mid-summer forward, and it remains the cloud over Obama in many minds, while many more simply worry about his hard-left views. John McCain led from the center on the financial rescue plan, and Obama beat a retreat to the tall grass until it was safe to come back to D.C. to vote yes, a perfect display of the choice in front of the country.

Four points down with 34 days and three debates to go against the hardest left nominee in history. If you had told John McCain that was his choice last summer, he'd have taken it in a second, and with very good reason.

Sarah America!

Yes we can (North Korean style!)

Indocrination of our youth

I saw the youtube production Tuesday on thought "My God! Looks like Hitler Youth to me!" As always, TD gets it here: From a comment on TD blog,
It was rumored that Obama’s youth group in Chicago had a flag with symbols resembling the crescent moon and star. Obama had it changed because he did not want it to reflect negatively on his presidential campaign.

Unfortunately, too many Americans do not realize what communism, and socialism are all about. It saddens me when college students can’t name the first president of the United States. Yet they are estatic at the opportunity to elect a man who calls the Constitution of the United States ” just words”
Hitler has risen, in the form of Baraka Hussien Mohammed Obama.

Speak out American, you won’t be able to speak freely much longer.

Sieg Heil Obama

Alaskans for Palin VP

An Open Letter To America,

Alaskans has become very sad.

Do you want to know why?

They are so afraid that John McCain will not win the presidential
race and Sarah Palin will return to Alaska. Alaskans beg America and
ask everyone to vote for McCain so "Caribou Barbie" and the "First
Dude" , Toddy, will not come back to Alaska.

Just think if McCain loses what will Tina Fey do? The SNL skits over
the next four years will be hilarious if the Republicans win.

We have a promise of some real ignorance over the next four years
from Sarah. She'll keep us all shaking our heads and wondering what
was McCain thinking when he picked her as Veep. And maybe, just maybe
she might become President with the way Johnny Boy is looking these
days. That will be a real hoot!

Thank you for reading this and please pass it on to everyone you know.

Thank you, Alaskans For Palin For Veep

Let Sarah go! (Unleashed on Hugh Hewitt)

Life size Sticker of Sarah
I was tuning in on Hugh's show yesterday and heard Sarah Palin! Right off the bat! Love the line about herself, "Joe-Six-Pac," and the compalint her son hasn't called her yet "little Stinker!" LOL! From Hugh's interview here.

A good read here by Fred Thompson Qualified on Sarah and CNN article on Sarah, "Let Palin be Palin!

Steps for Support of McCain-Palin

Over at Moms for McCain the Ten Steps here.

I'm just so nervous right now about McCain-Palin campaign. All of us supporters have to start moving to get the vote for McCain-Palin. I've been passing buttons out to my friends and family. The yard sign is out and the bumpersticker on the car. We are a Navy Family and we do support our Navy Veterans! God Bless John McCain and Sarah Palin. They are the right stuff for our nation! God Bless America!
