Blogstorm on Reuters

Over the weekend the Blogs were cracking the fake photo on Reuters.
INDC has a great overlay of the original photo and the fake version here.

Here is the article in the JPost on the Reuters fakery here.

The photograph by Adnan Hajj, which shows plumes of smoke rising from downtown Beirut after an IAF bombing, appeared to have been doctored to show more intense smoke and destruction over the city.

More on LGF and the blogs role here:
The US-based blog LittleGreenFootballs.com first wrote about the controversy and included a series of detailed animations drawing attention to doctored elements of the photograph.

"This Reuters photograph shows blatant evidence of manipulation. Notice the repeating patterns in the smoke; this is almost certainly caused by using the Photoshop "clone" tool to add more smoke to the image," wrote Charles Johnson a regular contributor to LittleGreenFootballs.

I like Little Green Footballs, Charles is great! I have to get Glenn Reynolds book, Army of Davids. The Army of Davids were in force and I'm glad they were on top of the fakery of the MSM. This war is a propaganda war and the Reuters photographer is in cahoots with the enemy Hezbollah. He was also in the propaganda of Qana and the green helmet man.
Retraction at Reuters here:
UPDATE: Reuters has retracted all of Adnan Hajj's photos in their database (over 900 pics). HT Michelle Malkin here. Seems they want to exam the photos and stop the bloggers from getting to them to critique. Well Michelle has a list of bloggers who have already analyzed the faker's work. Great job in kicking the MSM A** on this one! Heh.
