NSA phone list

I like Michelle's artcile here in the NYPost today about the NSA program on phone lists.

Like me and most American's feel much safer with the program intact than our privacy intruded on. I don't care if they have a list of my phone numbers. They aren't listening in on them. "Phone Tapping" is regulated by the US courts as criminal activity and warrants are issued. Here, we don't have the time to issue warrants for Terrorists. If it is suspected A-Q activity, then they will go and get the info they need to capture them. Like I have said in the past, an American would never ever call or speak to an A-Q terrorist. Domestic spying is not the issue. It is the foreign calls coming in from Known A-Qs.

President Bush made clear yesterday: "We're not mining or trolling through the personal lives of millions of innocent Americans. Our efforts are focused on links to al Qaeda and their known affiliates. So far we've been very successful in preventing another attack on our soil."

Nevertheless, the civil liberties Chicken Little are screaming "Bushitler!" on cue. What they should be screaming for are the heads of the blabbermouths endangering all of us by running to the fifth-column press when they don't get their way in Washington. But you can never find the leak-decriers when you need them, can you?
